Slow Sunday

We had a nice Sunday full of relaxing and family. We went to Church together, the kids were really good with minor infringements. Evie did the sign for "hold me" to anyone she saw because she didn't want to be with Mom or Dad, sitting still in a pew. For the most part, though, she did well.

We decided to run some errands with the kids afterward. Best Buy, Kohl's, and the Doughnut Factory (Krispy Kreme). Again, they did very well. It was fun to watch the donuts being made and Evie LOVED the donuts. We got a lovely compliment from an elderly couple in the doughnut shop, which is so appreciated!

The rest of the day was spent on yard work. The younger boys enjoyed being outside, and I was able to take a few pictures of them.

It was so much fun to go out as a family and awesome to see how well all of the kids behaved. I'm looking forward to this summer, we're going to have a wonderful time!

Paddy found a humongous earthworm. He was in heaven.

It was disgusting and much bigger than this picture makes it look.

My flowers bloomed this year! So pretty!

The other one has buds, I'm hopeful it will bloom as well!

Joe's favorite flowers are Dandelions. He was thrilled to see the front yard filled with them. He kept making sweeping motions with his arms saying, "It's BEAUTIFUL!"

 See a big one?

Joe spends much of his time outside looking for flowers for his girls. He wanted us to put them in our hair, here's Evie with her beautiful yellow Dandelion. It went well with her dress!
