Evie had to be woken up for her party, so she was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd of people that showed up while she was napping, but she took it well. She enjoyed hearing people sing and honestly didn't even glance at her cake. I didn't sit her down with cake because there were so many to serve, I forgot! My dad reminded me of how sweet it is to see a one-year-old dig into their cake, so I'm thinking we'll have to try again with just her brothers as an audience.
Here are some pictures from the day. Thanks for all who came to make her party a special one!
Ah! The pictures showed up backwards, this was supposed to be the last one. Joe decided that the tissue paper made a good Halloween costume for Miriam.
She agreed.
