Miss Miriam

I thought I would do a little post on Miriam. She has changed the most lately and it's amazing to see her find her niche here in the household. She's stubborn, playful, funny, helpful, mischievous and loving. She hates bedtime because her fun with the boys is at an end! She keeps herself busy as there is always something new to find in this house. I find myself asking her WHERE she got the latest "toy" she's playing with.

Paddy and Joe have gladly added her to their little circle. Just yesterday, they took her "shopping" to the toy box. Paddy was saying, "Miriam, do you want this skirt, or this skirt?.....Well, why don't we buy both?" They were dressing her up for her pretend birthday which was that very day. She understand everything that's going on and plays along with them, even adding little things here and there.

I can't believe how much of a girly girl she is. She loves to get dressed and can literally change her outfit every 5 minutes (usually on laundry days!). She has a winter scarf that she loves to wear, just like Mama. Once she asked Joe, "Do you like my scarf?" She pays attention to details and how Mama does things. When she pretends to go out, she needs her scarf, jacket,  purse, and her hair put up. I recently painted her nails for Easter, and she's been dying to have them done since (we're only doing that on very special days for now).

In spite of being so girly, she loves balls, cars, and trains. I can't wait for her to go to the Steam Show in September, I know she's going to love seeing the huge steam engines!

She enjoys helping me with anything I do and many times she follows me around during chores. She's getting better at patiently waiting for her turn to help and listening to my direction. She's also getting better at being patient in Mass. Not long ago, she would cry and tantrum by the end, wanting to leave that minute! Now she just gets wiggly by the end. I'm so proud to have such a sweet and obedient little girl!

This was yesterday while watching a show. She looks so old!

 Cuz Nerf glasses are cool.

I cannot get this girl to sit still to save her life!

She thinks it's funny for me to tell her to sit still and her not complying.

 Colander hat!

 Dress up!

 On Easter.

A fun video mostly of Miriam dancing, a bit of the boys, too.
