Hickory Dickory Dock...

I am not so much a fan of the time change. Miriam's schedule has been so thrown off that we hardly know when to get her to bed, feed her, or let her play! She's been only a little more fussy than usual, she is such a sweet baby! The boys are adjusting slowly, they weren't crazy about going to bed an hour early! Hopefully, it will only take a couple more days of being strictly on schedule for them to get used to it.

Meanwhile, we've been cleaning up the basement to make it kid friendly. A lot of toys have been moved downstairs and the boys love it! It makes cleaning up the living room much easier. I love organizing things! Sean replaced a light in the kitchen, it's beautiful and makes that part of the kitchen so bright. We're going to have to change the other one now! He also put a fluorescent light in the basement for the laundry area, what an improvement! The who laundry "room" is transformed and it makes laundry enjoyable (that and the new sink!).

This week is Paddy's birthday. We're preparing for that and St. Patrick's day. We have a lot of green things planned and red things for Patrick's party on Saturday. This year for Patrick's birthday, mommy and daddy will take him out to eat and he'll pick his "big" present. I'm super excited about it, I love spending time with my kids individually! Next week, we'll head to Michelle and Andy's house, the boys cannot wait! I can't either, I miss my sister so much!

We're also coming to the end of Lent. I decided that the boys would only watch religious tv and games, and that's been hard! But it's really helped us to lessen the amount of tv we're watching. That's always my goal! We've also prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary a couple of times. It's amazing to see the graces we're given through these prayers. The boys are very deep thinkers and they ask us many questions about Jesus and Mary. Joshua contemplates the pictures we have hanging in our home. He recently discovered "the Virgin" (aka Our Lady of Guadalupe). He loves to hear Juan Diego's story. He also found the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and is very interested in the Crown of Thorns. The younger boys call their Rosary's, "Rosie's." Super sweet and cute!  I'm hoping to end Lent with a bang and pray the Rosary or Chaplet every night before bedtime.

We'll write a "Paddy post" for Wednesday :)
