It's a....

Aparently the pictures want to go first, and since I am not very good at this, I won't try to get the post to come first.

Chubby Heckaman thighs :)
It's a Boy!!

There was a possibility that we were going to have twins, my uterus was measuring big for my due date. But we learned at the ultrasound today that I was way off!! The old due date was Oct. 11th and the new due date is Sept. 17th! This baby really caught us off guard, what a little blessing!

The next big news is that we have another little boy! Yes, we are trying to build a basketball team, baseball team, whatever :) Sean and I couldn't be happier, although Teddy was a little dismayed. He insists that the baby is a girl and her name is Maggie (our name for a girl was Magdalena). We are going to get him used to the idea of another brother, it shouldn't take long for him to get excited!

The ultrasound was so much fun! The baby looks like Teddy and has a great little nose. We got to see "the life of baby in utero." He yawned for us, grabbed the umbilical cord, and chewed on his fingers. Our ultrasound tech was awesome and let us watch him for extra long, she gave us 15 pictures of him! She pointed out his ear, heart, kidneys, brain, nose, and belly; and even my spine! Oh and we got to see some Heckaman thighs! She also showed Teddy his own heart, and although Teddy was shy, he was thrilled to be a part of everything.
So the bottom line is that I am 22 weeks along instead of 18 which is reassuring since I thought I MUST be carrying twins; I felt so big! And what a painless way to gain a month, it doesn't get better than that!
