And Baby Makes Six...

I think you've all learned that I am a huge procrastinator, but I am going to try to amend that. The last couple of months have been crazy with Christmas, being sick every now and then, and cabin fever (we cannot wait for Spring!).

We have some good news, a new baby in October! We are very excited and are getting serious about making the attic a bedroom for the older boys. Patrick still shares a room with us which makes it very hard to let him cry when he wakes up at night, so I am up several times a night. That attic could not be done fast enough!! Any contributions of knowledge or labor would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking U. Steve could find a new purpose in life in the next couple of weeks :D

Teddy is so smart and entertains me to no end, this parenting stuff is not dull! I recently told him that he shouldn't hit Joshua to which he replies, "I no hit, I kick." Heh heh. OK, no kicking! DId I really have to say that? We have long conversations about birthdays and weather, it's fun to see him understanding what I'm talking about. He can name almost every capitol letter of the alphabet. I can't wait to see him with Ian when the Suttons come, they talk on the phone together and talk about each other all the time.

Joshua is coming out of his shell. He is so sweet, he dances, sings, and draws like a pro. He is starting to count and repeats me often. He's really becoming a little boy, no longer my baby. We have some fights between the two older boys, mostly because Teddy is possesive of toys and loves to bother Joshy. But in spite of Teddy's monopoly of the trains, Joshy is starting to love them as well. He yells out "shoo, shoo!" whenever he gets his hands on a train.

Patrick is the sweetest baby, he is so happy and absolutely adores his brothers. He is "cruising," holding on to the furniture and walking. He pulls himself up and tries to climb to whatever it is he wants to get to. Paddy LOVES daddy! He goes crazy if Sean doesn't pick him up immediately after he gets home from work. And can you guess his first word? "Dada!" of course! But he still loves Mommy, "Mama" was his second word and I am sure that he says it more often!

I hope to update with some pictures, but this is all for now. Hope everyone is doing well!
