Torti-what??

So more on Paddy! We went to the doctor again today! Teddy got excited when he saw where we were going and yelled out, "Fish!" (There are fish in the waiting room, of course.) My kids should not know the doctor's office well enough to be excited!

We were concerned once more because Paddy's head tilts to one side and it is hard for him to turn his head one way. This will make it especially hard for me to reposition him. So he does NOT have Torticollis (shortened muscle), but he does have tightness in his neck that we have to work on. Oh my Paddy, what now?

The new game plan is to take pictures (below) and reposition him for three weeks. If his head isn't improving, we get a CT scan (fun) for his head to see if he has a condition that is less common, the fusion of cartilage and soft tissue. Then, I am sure we will consider a helmet, although I'd like to everything I can to stay away from that.

Here's a picture that my mom loved that we took while we were getting the statistical pictures.
Joshua had to get in on the fun, he said "cheese" and showed his baby teeth a few times before we finally took his pictures.
You can see how his head is lopsided, people call it a "parrallelagram" because the forhead usually pushes forward on one side (left side a bit). You can't see his ear, but one is pushed forward a bit. Also note where his crowns are (he has a double crown).
From the side you can tell that his head is a bit flat and that there is a bit of added height. His forhead is bulging slightly and his face (in another picture) isn't totally symmetrical, but I am not worried about that just yet.

So that's our news for today. I think all of you knew that I wouldn't get around to posting everyday, but I'll post often and when there is something interesting!
