Have you ever looked at some one, and you can tell that the wheels are turning inside their head? Well, that's what I've come to love about this stage, seeing my boys start to really think about things. Teddy does it too, like when we try to get him to talk in complete sentences.
Today, for instance, Teds wanted some more juice, and like always, he holds out his cup, and says, "more," well, we always ask him to ask us, "Daddy (or Momma), can I please have some more juice," which is usually answered with "juice, please."
But today, he thought about it for a second, and said, "Daddy, canahave juice...please." What got me was that he didn't repeat me word for word, he actually put together his own sentence, wow!
Teddy, btw is pretty much potty-trained, of course there are occasional accidents, but nothing that sets him back. He's also into this whole stomping around thing, which drives Theresa nuts, but I think it's kinda fun.
The other day, when we were getting the big boys ready for bed, the baby was already asleep, he started stomping around, and Theresa asked him to stop. I could tell she was pretty fed up with him by then, so I looked him straight in the eye, and said "Momma doesn't want to hear your hard feet, try to walk with soft feet." Low and behold, he walked off on his tippy-toes, like he was going to sneak up on somebody. I take great joy in things like that, you know, when your child listens to you, but does it in the cutest way possible.
Speaking of cute, isn't Paddy way too cute? I mean everybody thinks their baby is the cutest in the world, but I think we could win a contest with our Patrick. I mean, he's got this great big toothless smile, and those big eyes, it's just too much to compete with. When are they going to come out with American Baby Idol? Or, America, Your Baby's Got Talent. Paddy's learning to turn over, he will be shooting arrows with his feet any day now.
Maybe they could have seperate divsions for toddlers and babies, because Josh and Teds could battle it out in the toddler division.
Josh has developed some flippin' sweet dance moves (which consists of him stomping his feet and turning around in circle), and is working on his vocal range, he tried to sing along with me today, while I sung Joshy is a little man, which follows the tune of Mary had a little lamb. Teddy will blow the audience away with Twinkle Star, his own composition, which Theresa can accompany him, for she plays a mean recorder. What will I do, you ask? I will be holding Paddy, of course, and we will be holding up a sign that will read I'm a Ted Head on one side and Oh My Gosh, We Love Josh on the other. Then, after the show, we'll call 1-877-HECKO-01, and 1-877-HECKO-02 once each, just to keep thing fair, and let America decide the rest. It would be like Rueben and Clay all over again.
Oh, I can't forget the big news about our kitten, Figaro a.k.a. Kitten, she will be making her acting debut the the live action Get Fuzzy movie. This is a picture from her audition.

Well, before I decide to erase that whole Idol thing, I guess I'll wrap this up. Blogging is fun, I hope to get back to it soon and tell you more, but I can't promise anything.

I have to say, Sean, that that is one of the cutest things I've ever read. Of course, it's obvious that you love your boys when I see all of you, and it's fun to read about the..well, fun you have with them. :)
